Casing and
Grouting
At Copa Waters, we provide professional casing installation and grouting services that form the critical structural and sanitary barrier between your borehole and the surrounding environment. Proper casing and grouting are non-negotiable — they protect your water supply from surface contamination, prevent borehole collapse, and ensure the long-term integrity of your well.
Every casing and grouting job we undertake meets or exceeds WRMA and NEMA regulatory standards, giving you full compliance confidence and a borehole that is structurally sound and protected against contamination for decades to come.
Our Casing & Grouting Scope
We install and seal borehole casing to the highest engineering standards, using quality materials and proven grouting techniques. Our services ensure your borehole is structurally protected and hygienically isolated from surface pollutants:
-
Protective Casing Installation
Installation of durable steel or uPVC borehole casing that lines the full depth of the well, preventing borehole wall collapse and creating a sealed conduit for water extraction. All casing is sized and rated to match your borehole dimensions and formation conditions.
-
Screen & Filter Pack Fitting
Precision installation of borehole screens at the aquifer zone with correctly graded filter packs (gravel packs) that allow water in while keeping fine sand out. Properly fitted screens prevent siltation and extend the productive life of your borehole.
-
Cement Grouting & Sealing
Pressure grouting of the annular space between the casing and borehole wall using neat cement or bentonite-cement mixtures. Creates an impermeable seal that prevents surface runoff, shallow contaminated water, and pollutants from entering the borehole and reaching the aquifer.
-
Compliance & Regulatory Standards
All casing and grouting work is performed in strict accordance with WRMA, NEMA, and Kenya Bureau of Standards requirements. We provide full documentation and certification for regulatory submissions, ensuring your borehole meets legal construction standards.
-
Sanitary Wellhead Completion
Professional wellhead sealing with sanitary seals, concrete aprons, and protective covers that prevent insects, rodents, and surface water from entering the borehole at ground level. The final defence in a multi-layer contamination prevention strategy.
